Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has on Tuesday invited the immediate attention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj after the police recovered fake Aadhaar cards from Myanmar Muslim immigrants in the state.
Taking to Twitter, the CM said “Many fake Aadhar cards recovered from 7th illegal Myanmar Muslim immigrants along with1 from Chennai.”
He also informed the EAM that some Rohingyas were also arrested with fake documents in the border town Moreh earlier.

Addressing media on Monday, Mr Singh also sought the active participation of the public to check illegal activities of some gangs involved in making fake Aadhaar cards to enable illegal immigrants enter Manipur and other parts of the country, news agency UNI reported.
