US President Trump fires Secretary of State Rex Tillerson through twitter

US President Donald Trump has fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Director of CIA, Mike Pompeo will take over as the Secretary of the State.

In a tweet, President Trump annouced the firing.

The US State Department State Department spokesperson Steve Goldstein issued a statement stating that “the Secretary did not speak to the President and is unaware of the reason, but he is grateful for the opportunity to serve, and still believes strongly that public service is a noble calling.”

Since Trump has taken over, resignation and firing of senior administration officials gave all pervasive chaos in the White House.

Those who resigned included Gary Cohn, director of national economic council, Hope Hicks, communications director, Rob Porter, staff secretary, Omarosa Manigault-Newman, director of communications for Office of Public Liaison, Tom Price, health secretary, Sebastian Gorka, foreign policy advisor, Steve Bannon, chief strategist, Anthony Scaramucci, White House communications director, Reince Priebus, White House chief of staff, Sean Spicer, White House press secretary, Michael Flynn, national security adviser and Sally Yates, acting attorney general.
